About Us


The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore established Agricultural Technology Information Centre during November 1999 under the National Agriculture Technology Project in collaboration with Indian council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi. This Centre is offering single window delivery system for agricultural information as well as products such as seeds, planting material, nutrient mixtures, bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, value added products and technologies developed by the University. In addition, providing technical advisory services to the farmers about agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries, sericulture, forestry and other allied subjects through different extension methods at free of cost. In addition to these activities, Information Communication Technology tools like e-krishiuasb portal and Video-Conferencing facility was created to give on spot technical solutions to the farmers and the stake holders. Thus, Agricultural Technology Information Centre is functioning as a repository of agricultural information.
